UnMi is a 23 year old artist on the spectrum and this is UnMi’s second year participating in the ArtWalk. She has always had a passion for artistic expression and has been mentored lovingly for many years by her art teacher, Karen Green. UnMi utilizes her attention to detail to create unique, personal pieces of art — whether it be blinged out birdhouses, sugar skulls or drawings using various mediums. The biggest influence on her style is the art of David Shannon (the No, David books) and his influence is seen in her book, The Alphabet Girl. We hope you enjoy her work as much as she enjoyed creating it.
