Dotty Pringle

I am a proud Scotto-Indian, Osage Indigenous, and Scottish….grew up locally on Southside in Oxnard and never moved from our area. I have proudly lived here since the ’60s and have enjoyed it. I have the greatest little sister, and have kept many beloved longtime friends and made some terrific new ones!

I love our ChanneI Islands Harbor and raised my girls here. I have done extensive Investigative Research for area groups and the City of Oxnard, to save our Public Land For Public Use, regarding Oxnard’s Fisherman’s Wharf in CI Harbor.

Growing up diving at the Channel Islands, sailing, enjoying life….just wanted to share some “tribal vibe” from a Local Artist, by way of “teaching artwork”. Some on rocks lovingly gathered from Pt. Mugu to Rincon, California and done with respect and honor, to my Indigenous Brothers and Sisters too. Upon finishing my Artwork, the Artrocks are placed out under a Full Moon for Blessings, which represents a cycle of completion and thanks to the Great Spirit.

Currently my 2019-2021 Native American Indian Mermaid Series-Last one in the First Series of 8. I also like Canvas and Wood. I do logos for business cards and letterheads, as well.

Please come see my work at:
The Channel Islands Maritime Museum in Channel Islands Harbor and the Studio Gallery, in Oxnard’s Fisherman’s Wharf, 2741 S. Victoria Avenue, #H

Look for my online Fine Art Gallery soon!
