I have been a resident of Oxnard Shores for the past six years having come to love this neighborhood and all it has to offer. In my previous life, I worked as the Department Chair for the Interior Design program at a California Community College where I was able to share my passion for Interior Design with my students and faculty. Prior to my work at the college, I earned a Bachelors degree in Interior Design and opened my own design business, creating unique and functional interiors for hundreds of clients over 15 years time.

My new obsession is the upcycling of vintage train and cosmetic cases from the 1930s through 1960s. Through the use of hand-crafted paper, fabric, crystal beads, and other unique objects of art, I transform these vintage cases into one-of-a-kind pieces of art that you can take on your own adventures.

Let’s not forget the children! Now there are Kid Cases created to take along on travels. These cases feature themes such as dinosaurs, auto race track, and dollhouse. Come check them out!
